CITY AESTHETICS-CITY IMAGE
The town is located 3 km inland from the Aksaray-Nevşehir highway. The town is not visible at the entrance
from here. The most characteristic feature of the town is that it is a widespread settlement. The houses in the
town are located in large courtyards surrounded by high walls. There is no area or building with aesthetic value
in the town. The park arrangement and commercial uses in the center of the town ensure that this area is used as
a place for people to visit and as a community area. Thus, this area constitutes the only image point of the town.
Saratlı settlement is affiliated to the Gülağaç district of Aksaray province. The municipal organization in the
town was established in 1992. However, municipal services actually started after the 1994 local elections.
According to the survey studies conducted in the 1990 General Population Census of the town;
the town population was calculated as 2221 people.
